How do you respond when someone asks, "How old are you?"
Is age something you think about?
What about the reality of aging?
There are parts to it of which I'm not a big fan, but the negative perspective of getting older, or just plain old, is even worse.
When I was a child, I thought people in their 30's were already senior citizens!
That idea has certainly changed as I became an adult!
Seriously, how old really is old?
A more important question; when is one beyond dreaming or launching something visionary?
When is one too "old" to start something new?
I think the answer is in the question.
But if we need a bit of proof:
Samuel L. Jackson began his acting career in his 40's.
Colonel Sanders started Kentucky Fried Chicken at age 65.
Grandma Moses started painting at the age of 78!
While our bodies may complain from time to time about some ravages of time and of aging, dreams don't have an expiration date.
A vision for the future doesn’t play favorites based on the year you were born.
Let that drive you.
Trust me, there's still gas in the tank and good miles left!
