These phrases are used to help soften the fact that all of us are growing older and running out of time on this planet.
Given that, we all have a particular viewpoint on aging.
What may have been considered "old" while we were younger no longer fits that category.
Age, like time, is a gift. It's a friend to be embraced, not an enemy to fight.
Abraham Lincoln said, "It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
Entering into later seasons does not have to be a lessening experience.
At least I hope not!
Yes, bodies will age, as will minds, but I don't plan to just roll over as the years roll on!

I'm under no illusions. Father time is undefeated.
But you and I get to choose to tell him to take a seat for a bit while we do our best work and live our best lives.
